Mike Messina was born in Erie, PA in 1955 moving to Southern California with his family at a young age where his neighbor got him interested in hunting at the age of 9. Mike learned to hunt quail, rabbits, and deer and developed a passion for waterfowl hunting. Fly fishing and waterfowl hunting were his two favorite activities in the outdoors. Mike was a licensed fly fishing guide for a number of years. The first time Mike was exposed to predator hunting was at the age of 14 using mouth calls with his cousin in the San Diego area.
Later in life Mike became a competitive hand gunner while working in the field of law enforcement. He has been in law enforcement for 34 years and recently retired as a chief of police in the Southern California area. As a university professor Mike prides himself on educating the more liberal members of society with regard to all the positive aspects of hunting.
Tim Lewis was born in 1976 and raised in Southern NJ until he joined the Marine Corps at 19; Tim Lewis was introduced to the outdoors by his father at a very young age. Killing his first whitetail with a bow at age 13, he quickly became addicted to bow hunting and the sport of archery.
Tim has been lucky enough to live in some of the predator hot spots throughout the country, like South Georgia, Southern Arizona and currently Southern California for the 3rd time. He was first truly introduced to bobcats and coyotes while stationed in Yuma, AZ and has been in love ever since.
Tim and Mike have shared their passion for predator hunting through seminars, the Internet and other public speaking engagements. Both Mike and Tim have been featured on national TV on outdoors shows such as Mojo Outdoors TV and also in hunting DVD’s such as FOXPRO Outdoor Video Series Volume I and the L&M Outdoors predator video, Coyote Rage.
